CREATTERS 3D ART ( Modeling , Sculpting , Texturing , Rendering )

Creatters is my personal artwork which was created by Maya 2012 , Z Brush 4 & Photoshop CS4. He was a zombie creature which lived in underground of earth, Dark Dungeon. Creatters had a strong ability to killed enemy with his poisonous smoke which was produced by his inner body.Meanwhile, they try to enlarge their kinds and spread the egg everywhere in underground world, waiting the chance to come to earth surface and fight against with human being.

Here is my recent 3D Art Work " 5 Wall Game Enviroment Final Version " !

There're four version of the " 5 Wall Game Enviroment Final Version "

( a ) Color - Final Version Of Color Texturing.
( b ) Gray Scale - It can show the details and model shape of the enviroment in gray scale.
( c ) Red Eye Effect - It sound just like some Game's Monster Eye. Everything turned red when they look at the target with their " weird " eyes.
( d ) Old Photo Effect - It show out the old photo effect on the enviroment which can give us a warm and decolor feeling.

Tyrannosaurus is a genus of theropod dinosaur.

Tyrannosaurus rex commonly abbreviated to T. rex, is a fixture in popular culture. It lived throughout what is now western North America, with a much wider range than other tyrannosaurids.

Fossils are found in a variety of rock formations dating to the Maastrichtian age of the upper Cretaceous Period, 67 to 65.5 million.

Test Case Project 3 : 5 Wall Game Enviroment ( Part 1 ) ( Modeling, Sculpting & Rendering )

















Test Case Project 3 : 5 Wall Game Enviroment ( Part 1 ) ( Modeling, Sculpting & Rendering )


Hi, Lai, Randy and Sean ! How are you guys doing ?

I'm done with this 5 Wall Game Enviroment ( Part 1 ) ( Modeling, Sculpting & Rendering )
with natural speed in 9 days.


Day 1 ( 3 March 2011 ) ( Thursday ) :

( a ) After sending the Hot Air Balloon Project, i just have 5 hours left to start the 4 Wall Game Enviroment Project.

( b ) Do some research with Game Enviroment, like wall structure, ceiling board, sponge, plaster, wooden stick and more.



Day 2 ( 4 March 2011 ) ( Friday ) :

( a ) Start model the basic shape for the 4 Wall Game Enviroment's model.

( b ) Modeling base on the reference, photo and understanding of its structure.



Weekend ( 5 till 6 March 2011 )

Natural Speed is following the Office Working Hours, no works in weekend.



Day 3 ( 7 March 2011 ) ( Monday ) :

( a ) Develop more shapes and line for the 4 Wall Game Enviroment's model which is base on the original photo angle. It took a lot of time in matching the poly model with the original photo.

( b ) Finishing the modeling with base mesh which is ready to export for Z-Brush Sculpting.



Day 4 ( 8 March 2011 ) ( Tuesday ) :

( a ) Start sculpting the basic shape of the Game Enviroment Ground Part. It took a lot of time to figure out the sculpting location which based on original photo.



Day 5 ( 9 March 2011 ) ( Wednesday ) :

( a ) Keep sculpting the Game Enviroment Ground Part with more details on it. ( Sometimes, i need to export it out and render in Maya to check the right location. It took me a lot of time in "sculpting-checking-rendering" back and forth process. )



Day 6 ( 10 March 2011 ) ( Thursday ) :

( a ) Start sculpting the basic shape of the Game Enviroment Ceiling Part. It took a lot of time to figure out the sculpting location which based on original photo.



Day 7 ( 11 March 2011 ) ( Friday ) :

( a ) Keep sculpting the Game Enviroment Ceiling Part with more details on it. ( Sometimes, i need to export it out and render in Maya to check the right location. It took me a lot of time in "sculpting-checking-rendering" back and forth process. )


Weekend ( 12 till 13 March 2011 )

Natural Speed is following the Office Working Hours, no works in weekend.


Day 8 ( 14 March 2011 ) ( Monday ) :

( a ) Finishing the whole sculpting including ground and ceiling part.
( b ) Decimation Process
( c ) Export the high poly models and ready to bake maps in Maya.



Day 9 ( 15 March 2011 ) ( Tuesday ) :

( a ) Setting the light and camera for rendering.
( b ) Render the finals images with a lot of angles and views.
( c ) Spend 3 hours for compositing the images and final poster.
( d ) Pack up the files and ready to send for you guys.



Overall, i enjoy the 5 Wall Game Enviroment ( Part 1 ) ( Modeling, Sculpting & Rendering ) very much. It was fun and challenging , especially the sculpting section ! It took me a lot of time to back and forth by checking the models between Maya and Z-Brush.

I hope you guys can give me some advice, feedback and suggestion. I would be very appreciate with it. Thank you.

I will be starting to work with the 5 Wall Game Enviroment ( Part 2 ) ( Retopology, Baking, Texturing & Finals ) tomorrow ( 16 March 2011 ) ( Wednesday ) , excited !!! ^^

Part 2 will included Normal Maps Baking, Diffuse, Specular, Color and Finals )

(I can't send the Z-Brush High Poly Version becasue it's size is about 1.1 GB. But i will send the whole set of maps in finals. )

Test Case 2 : Hot Air Balloon Project ( Done by Elvis Ngeow )




Hi, Lai, Randy and Sean ! How are you guys doing ?

I'm done with this Hot Air Balloon Project with natural speed in 4 & 1/2 days.



Day 1 ( 24 Feb 2011 ) ( Thursday ) :

( a ) After sending the Parrot Project, i just have 4 hours left to start the Hot Air Balloon.

( b ) Do some research with Hot Air Balloon's basic structure like envelope, burners, skirt, wicker basket, parachute and propane tanks.



Day 2 ( 25 Feb 2011 ) ( Friday ) :

( a ) Start model the basic shape for the Hot Air Balloon's model.

( b ) Modeling base on the reference, photo and understanding of its structure.



Weekend ( 26 till 27 Feb 2011 )

Natural Speed is following the Office Working Hours, no works in weekend.



Day 3 ( 28 Feb 2011 ) ( Monday ) :

( a ) Develop more shapes and line for the Hot Air Balloon.

( b ) Finishing the modeling with high poly version.



Day 4 ( 1 March 2011 ) ( Tuesday ) :

( a ) Unwrapping the UVs and ready for Texturing.

( b ) Start painting texture in Photoshop.

( c ) Setting the light and camera for rendering.



Day 5 ( 2 March 2011 ) ( Wednesday ) :

( c ) Render the finals images with a lot of angles and views.

( a ) Spend 3 hours for compositing the images and final poster.

( b ) Pack up the files and ready to send for you guys.



Overall, i enjoy the Hot Air Balloon Project very much. It was fun and challenging , especially the texture painting of envelope patterns.

I hope you guys can give me some advice, feedback and suggestion. I would be very appreciate with it. Thank you.

Test Case 1 : Parrot Modeling Project Done by Elvis Ngeow


















Hi, Lai, Randy and Sean ! How are you guys doing ?

I'm done with this Parrot Modeling Project with natural speed in 3 days.

Day 1 :

( a ) Do some research with parrot's body, eyes, beaks, claws, wings and body.
( b ) Start model the basic shape for the parrot's model.

Day 2 :

( a ) Develop more shapes and line for the parrot which is base on the original photo angle. It took a lot of time in matching the poly model with the reals parrot's photo.

Day 3 :

( a ) Finishing the modeling with low-high poly version.
( b ) Setting the light and camera for rendering.
( c ) Render the finals images with a lot of angles and views.

Day4 :

( a ) Spend 3 hours for compositing the images and final poster.
( b ) Pack up the files and ready to send for you guys.



Overall, i enjoy the modeling very much. It was fun and challenging with the modeling base on the original photo angle.

I hope you guys can give me some advice, feedback and suggestion. I would be very appreciate with it. Thank you.
